129 golfers showed up on our best weather day to date to raise over $10,000 for our foundation! Although this was our 9th year hosting, it was the first year that it will now be known as "The Coach Bob A Classic", to honor the man that had the vision to host a golf tournament and brought it to fruition. It was a true "southside event" with golfers from South, Washburn and Roosevelt! We observed a moment of silence at the beginning to honor the lives lost on 9/11 and the carts were all adorned with flags. Good spirits, lots of laughs and plenty of Teddy teasing rounded out our day!
Winners were:
Closest to the pin for men: Wayne Joel
Longest putt men/women: Ron Schneider
Long Drive Senior: Ted Boran
Long Drive Women: Lezlie Vermillion

Save the date!
We are moving courses this year AND playing on a SATURDAY!
When: Saturday September 11, 2021
Where: River Oaks Golf Course
More details to follow as we know more where we are with COVID protocols.
We are still holding the 8th Annual Roosevelt Foundation Golf Tournament on Friday September 18th 2020.
Due to COVID we have had to amend the format. We will be unable to host a banquet and silent auction, however we can still hold the tourney. This year we will be providing a boxed lunch. We will golf using a tee time format rather than a shot gun.
Tee times will be communicated prior to the tourney. You can expect your tee time to be anywhere between 9AM and Noon. There will be no check-in, but rather an easy process. Come to the course, hit some balls (included in your fee) or putt a little. Grab something from the pub, and hop in your marked cart and go have some fun on the links with your fellow Teddies! Plenty of room out on the deck or in the pub to socially distance before or after!!
The tourney will be contact free as much as possible for our Teddies safety, so we require prepayment online only. There will be no "check in" to pay at the door this year. The fee per golfer is $100.
Unable or uncomfortable to play this year? We welcome a "virtual golf" donation of any amount, but would much rather see you at the course! :)
